106 Medicine and Vitamin Packages Distributed for Self-Isolated Residents in Tanjung Priok

North Jakarta Government collaborated with Indonesian Army (TNI) to distribute 106 medicine and vitamin packages for residents in Tanjung Priok who are undergoing self-isolation.

Hopefully it will be useful for residents who are undergoing self-isolation and reduce COVID-19 transmission rate

North Jakarta Mayor, Ali Maulana Hakim stated, this assistance was intended for residents in densely populated RW who had been isolated in the last five days as an effort to reduce number of COVID-19 transmission.

"Hopefully it will be useful for residents who are undergoing self-isolation and reduce COVID-19 transmission rate," he mentioned, Thursday (7/15).

Regency Turns Urban Village and Sub-district Office Halls into Controlled Isolation Area

Tanjung Priok Sub-district Health Center Head, Ahrahayati Wildany added, there are medicines and vitamins package 2 and package 3 which distributed by TNI to residents. In detail, 53 packages given to residents in RW 01, 35 packages to each RW 02 and RW 11, and 18 packages to Kebon Bawang Urban Village.

"Urban village health center collaborates with three pillars and Kader Pulih in local RWs who will distribute it to self-isolated residents door-to-door," she conveyed.

She explained, medicine package type 2 consists of medicine for fever and anosmia in form of anti-virus and vitamins. While medicine package type 3 contains of antibiotic, medicines for fever, cough, and high fever.

"Residents who are undergoing self-isolation don't have to worry about running out of medicine," she expressed.

For information, from total 7 urban villages in Tanjung Priok Sub-district, as of July 14, there are 2,400 active cases with total 1,320 residents who are undergoing self-isolation.
